The Diagnosis - Monday, June 3

Our 3-year old son, Cameron, was just diagnosed with a brain tumor on Monday afternoon.  This was shocking and terrifying news to me and Elizabeth.  On Monday, we went  to the pediatrician because the medication that we were given for a previous diagnosis of acid reflux wasn't working and Cameron was having vomiting episodes.  We went from the pediatrician's office to Stanford/LPCH to get an MRI.  After the MRI Cameron was admitted to LPCH that evening and diagnosed with a brain tumor.   He had surgery to insert a stint in his brain to help remove the fluid that built up because of the tumor.
