And we’re home!  Cam was discharged from LPCH.  He’ll be home with us for a week before he heads to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital for high dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue.  It’s a six month treatment protocol and he’ll be in-patient for much of it.  Cam has a moderate case of posterior fossa syndrome.  He is able to speak and can move his right side well, but has trouble accessing all of his words, his coordination is off, and his left side is weak. He is going to have to work with PT/OT/speech therapy to get back to his pre-surgical self.
