Day 1 of Chemo - June 27

We arrived at UCSF for Cameron's first day of chemo - he will be here for at least a week. We spent much of the day in the infusion clinic waiting to get his hydration right and all his numbers at the appropriate levels before starting his first dose of methotrexate (MTX). He was not happy to be back in a hospital, however he did enjoy the visit from some of the Pixar team. He was able to get a showing of Toy Story 4, and one of the animators sketched his favorite character - Bullseye. We were eventually admitted and Cameron watched a few more movies before his levels were good enough to begin treatment. He started his treatment at 10:30pm and slept through the the whole infusion.
